You Are the Only Animal Who Can Think, Who Can Reason, Who Can Read

A replay of an earlier Q-Tea because my lovely friend Sara's book is now available for pre-order.

Hi Quinn,

Speaking of books, just got my copy of "Notes" and am enjoying it immensely (as well as your blog and videos). I'll be saving time to read it on planes this summer when I become one of the appraisers on Antiques Roadshow.

Sincerely, your newest fan,

I like O magazine but I admit that I kind of read it in secret so no one thinks I'm one of "those women."

And now there are two more books I must add to my overburdened bookshelves.

Also? You used to have long hair, right? I didn't make that up in my head?

Thank you! The book has been pre-ordered. Of course, I will forget having placed the order and in the dead of winter it will magically appear! Magic is nice.

The heat index was over 101* today. I spent two hours calling people this afternoon asking if I had loaned them my copy of your book, perchance. I used perchance because I knew we were going to see "Hamlet" tonight, and I needed to warm up to it. Anyway, no one fessed up, so I am thinking that can only be a wonderful thing! Somebody loves that book so much that they can't give it back, so I need to get a new copy. By the way, this whole Pollyanna thing is wearing.

Thanks so much for ordering my book, guys. I hope you love it when it arrives in February! Maybe I'll come to a bookstore near you for a reading, and you can bring it in for me to sign it.

Thank you Quinn for the recommendation. I'll check it out.
I just finished reading your book by the way which, in many parts, made me laugh out loud (including my shoulders shaking).
I came upon your book by accident when it magically fell into my hands when shopping in the humor section. I needed to read some funny stuff since I just finishing up treatment for my recent breast cancer.
I was looking for Dave Barry's latest read when suddenly your book literally fell into my hands. I said to myself,"What's this?", and sat down to read a few pages.
I was happily surprised to find you again so to speak since (yes I know you may not want to know this) I was a fan of yours from Goodbye Girl days.

I too am a Mom with a daughter I believe to be just a few years older than yours. She also enjoyed the parts I read aloud to her.
Thank you for making me laugh then and now.
