Too funny. You could make MISSING posters, and put around the neighborhood. (I expect that in a fit of delirium during overwork or illness or wild housecleaning, one of you moved it somewhere. Or loaned it out and don't remember so doing.)

i have the exact same problem with my cuisinart ice cream maker. Hoping I find it when we start packing for the move.

When things go missing around here, we always blame the cats. Although, I don't think the five of them could ever develop enough of a consensus to actually make off with and properly hide a Cuisinart.

Keep an eye on your coffee maker just in case there's some kind of kitchen black hole.

I think, perhaps, this is the same anonymous person that my friend and I have been having trouble with. My friend's cheese was taken out of her refrigerator and put into a drawer in her kitchen; no one who lives in her house did this. A week after the cheese incident I went out my front door only to find that someone, I can only assume it was the same someone from the sheer weirdness of the incidents, had taken my ashtray and left behind a rug at the bottom of my steps. The strange occurrence bandit has struck again with your Cuisinart.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a cuisinart? I don't think we have those in New Zealand (or maybe it has a different name here).
