Blog Tour Stop #1: Sara J. Henry!

Blog Tour Day #1 To promote my book Notes from the Underwire which publishes today, I'm appearing on different blogs, answering question. Because she was the clever-boots who gave me the idea, the lovely and talented Sara J. Henry got the first spot. She also got to correct my punctuation, because eventually everyone gets to correct my punctuation: http://sarainvermont.blogspot.com/2009/07/author-quinn-cummings-kicks-off-blog.html

If you'd like to interview me, get in touch.

I read your interview on Sara's blog, and am now making plans to attend your Vroman's reading and buy your book. So yes, indeed, Sara was quite clever. I enjoyed your interview and am now enjoying (and following) your blog. I'm also trying to figure out a way to tie in an interview with you to my blog, which is about my breast cancer "odyssey" (because I hate the word journey in any context where there is no wine or exotic locale involved). I'm not as creative as Sara...all I can come up with is the fact that during radiation I'm not allowed to where underwire bras. This seems a bit tangential for an entire interview, don't you think?

Teresa, if anyone can build an entire (and entertaining) interview around the fact that you've been forbidden to wear underwire bras while undergoing radiation and that Quinn named her book after an underwire bra - you can.

My book arrived today from Amazon. My partner is out of town so I am going to climb into bed early and have a good read. :-)

What a fantastic idea. I, being a devoted (and probably pesky commenter) fan who is dying to read your book would LOVE to interview you over at Telecommuter Talk, if you'd let me. You can find me and my email (under my profile) at: emilybarton.blogspot.com. Please drop me a line if you haven't already been completely inundated with interview requests. Don't worry if you have been inundated already. I plan to read your book and review it on my blog anyway.

My abs hurt*, thank you very much. I stayed up way too late and was forced to make a couple of dog leapfrogging emergency trips to the bathroom, interspersed with blind grabs for the Kleenex box.

I laughed*, I cried, I loved it.

Thank you.

Okay. My question. Lots of thought and effort...blah blah blah.

I recently caused quite a controversy over on my blog about the issue of eating pork; those that do and those poor sods who abstain. What is the biggest controversy you have caused or been in the middle of?

Please have consort correct my horrendous punctuation. Mommy makes it up as he goes along.
