I Owe You One.

Dear Readers,

As you may have noticed, I have been trying to write something every other day (Some might argue that a little less frequency might result in a little more quality, but I ignore such people).
This week, however, has risen up like a four-story tall Persian cat and batted me around like a catnip mouse.

I promise you something shortly.

Watch this space.

Quinn

Quinn, dahlink - this was supposed to be FUN, remember? If it becomes a job, you can apologize to your editor - in the meantime, stop worrying about what you "owe" your readers, and do what you need to take care of yourself and your family. And remember what they said in your vaudeville days - always leave 'em wanting more. (Yes, I swear, you're really that old - just ask your daughter when she becomes a teenager).

I am flabbergasted, impressed, and mildly irritated that you've been able to keep up that pace for so long. HOW do you do it and still give a passing glance to Consort and Daughter (not to mention the rest of your life)? Do you post something and 30 seconds later start thinking of your next one? I, for one, am grateful for your guilt, because I always want to read more, more, MORE!!

It is fun. I just know with painful familiarity how easy it is to get out of the habit of anything. Forcing myself to show up here every 48 hours is good for my soul and exercises the increasingly flabby discipline muscle.
So, I guess the correct title would be I Owe Me One. But I like the one I chose better.

I think Melissa made a good point. And we, your loyal readers, will certanly wait for you. Hope all is well and that the Persian cat reference doesn't mean something is wrong with Lulabelle...Meanwhile, I shall use the time normally alloted for reading your posts to determine how (and/or why???) the good hammer came to rest on the sink in my bathroom.

Lulabelle is relentlessly fabulous and thanks you for your concern. I just had ten days of rites of passage, holidays, birthdays, random events that required dogged attention and not enough sleep. It came down to "Shall I write or shall I attempt a REM cycle?".

But, I'm back now.
